
Chick-Fil-A Sandwich
A homemade fried chicken sandwich inspired by Chick-fil-A, featuring marinated, breaded chicken breast fried to a crisp and served on toasted sesame seed buns with pickle slices.

Place the chicken breast between plastic wrap and gently pound to about 1/2 inch thick, then cut into two pieces as evenly as possible.

Marinate the chicken in pickle juice for 30 minutes to 1 hour; add a teaspoon of Tabasco sauce for a spicy sandwich if desired.

Beat the egg with the milk in a bowl.

In another bowl, mix the flour, icing sugar, and spices (paprika, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, celery salt, and cayenne pepper).

Dip the chicken pieces into the egg mixture, then coat in the flour mixture on both sides.

Heat oil in a skillet to a depth of about 1/2 inch and a temperature of roughly 345–350°F 177 °C · 350 °F · Gas 4 · Medium heat.

Fry each cutlet about 2 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through.
