
Mediterranean Pasta Salad
A Mediterranean-inspired Italian pasta salad with mozzarella, tomatoes, fresh basil, olives, and tuna tossed with olive oil.

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

Add pasta, stir once and cook about 10 minutes or as directed on the packet.

Meanwhile, wash the tomatoes and cut into quarters. Slice the olives. Wash the basil.

In a salad bowl, tear the basil leaves over the tomatoes and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil; mix.

When the pasta is ready, drain into a colander and rinse with cold water to cool quickly.

Toss the pasta into the salad bowl with the tomatoes and basil.

Add the sliced olives, drained mozzarella balls, and tuna. Mix well and let the salad rest for at least 30 minutes to let flavors mingle.

Just before serving, grind black pepper generously and drizzle with remaining olive oil.
