Grilled Portuguese Sardines
Sardines marinated with garlic, paprika, lemon, and rosemary, then grilled until caramelised and lightly charred, served with lemon wedges.

Mix all ingredients except the sardines in a bowl with some seasoning. Pour into a baking dish, add the sardines and toss well. Cover and chill for a few hours.

Heat a BBQ or griddle pan until hot. Cook the sardines for 4-5 minutes on each side until caramelised and charred. Serve with lemon wedges, drizzle with oil, and sprinkle with a bit more paprika.
