A Turkish-inspired chickpea dip made with tahini, garlic, yogurt, and lemon juice. A creamy, tangy spread that works as a dip or accompaniment.

Steps

Drain the chickpeas in a sieve over a bowl to catch the liquid. Add the chickpeas, tahini, garlic, and yogurt to a food processor or blender and whizz until smooth.

With the processor running, gradually add a tablespoon of the chickpea liquid until you reach a nice consistency, then scrape into a bowl.

Stir in a squeeze of lemon juice and season to taste.
