Strawberries Romanoff
A classic Russian dessert featuring strawberries folded with whipped cream and sour cream, served chilled.

In a medium bowl, combine hulled and quartered strawberries with 4 tablespoons sugar and 4 tablespoons Grand Marnier; stir to combine, then cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour and up to 2 hours, stirring once or twice.

Before serving, in a large mixing bowl, beat 1 cup cold heavy cream with 1/4 cup powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.

Fold in 1/4 cup sour cream just until well blended.

To serve, divide the strawberries among 6 serving glasses or bowls. Spoon the cream over the berries and, if desired, drizzle some syrup. Serve immediately or chill and enjoy within 2 hours of assembly.
